Jen Lee Reeves is the New Media Director at KOMU-TV8 and an associate professor at the Missouri School of Journalism. She moved from traditional journalism to non-traditional thinkers about journalism and education.
Reeves was a part of the innaugural class of Reynolds Journalism Institute fellows (2008-09). She manages a number of blogs (about technology and her mom world) and online communities while helping KOMU’s news spread across social media and the Internet. She’s passionate about advocating for special needs and runs a website called Born Just Right. Reeves also recently helped launch a niche website called Investigative Mommy Blogger. Reeves travels around the world to share her knowledge of how journalists and others can use technology to spread information beyond the norm. Feel free to chat with her on Twitter anytime.
Reeves is married to a fellow professor and KOMU newsroom manager, has two children and two dogs. She loves to run, take photos, play with social media and build websites (like this one).
